2 · Including multiple water tubes, Miura's natural gas/propane hot water boiler is a low water content, water tube design, which provides full output within 5 minutes. Miura's Low NOx Hot-Water Boiler utilizes a flat shaped burner and rectangular shaped boiler vessel uniquely designed for the LXW.
If the expansion tank is missing or not operating properly, pressure in the system may cause the boiler's pressure relief valve to vent water. Or, air bubbles being released by the heating water may gather somewhere else in the system, causing a blockage that stops the flow of hot water.
The big pipe coming out of the top is the flue. The hot and cold water and gas pipes enter the boiler underneath. The gas jets and heat exchangers are hidden behind the white front cover, but you can see what they look like in the photos below. What does the boiler do? Photo: The gas jets inside a boiler fire up to heat the water.

Thermostats regulate the heat, and the moment you open the hot water tap, the system pulls cold water to replenish the loss in water in the tank. A tankless water heater provides direct heating to the pipes just before the tap. Usually, these systems maintain the heating process for as long as the tap remains open.
A member of the Wall community asks this question: What is the "safe" operating pressure in PSI for a hot-water boiler heating system, and what is the "safe" range in terms of temperature for boiler operation? One member responds: The highest pressure the boiler should ever see is stamped on the boiler tag - Usually 30- or 50-psi.
2012-11-10 · I recently bought a house just outside of Boston with radiant floor heating that used an electric micro boiler just for the heat.
